%X In this research the purpose is to explore the knowledge and perspectives of policymakers and politicians regarding the (tools for) redevelopment of structural vacant office space, in order to make recommendations for municipalities. To pursue this goal several aspects of the structural vacancy of office space are discussed and underpinned by data gathered from interviews, literature and reports. The focus of the research on structural vacant office space is on the policy side of the problem and the redevelopment solution of the problem, focused on the role of the municipality.
