abstract: Deze ex post evaluatie maakt, onder andere door het uitgebreid behandelden van de haalbaarheidsstudies van de megaparken International Businesspark Friesland (IBF) en het Europark Coevorden-Emlichheim, duidelijk waarom het IBF mislukt is en waarom het Europark het wel een behoorlijke impact op de regionale economie heeft. Dit komt onder andere door de trimodale overslagcapaciteit op het Europark.
