Social barriers like shame, judgement and being a step behind society influence ex-prisoners home-making activities in a negative way. The feeling of being isolated is relatable for many ex-prisoners. Financial and political barriers are often in the form of not being able to open a bank account of request payments, the result is an experienced high level of stress which can leads to restlessness. An opportunity in the home making process of ex-prisoners is the chance to start over in a different environment. date: 2018 date_type: published thesis_type: bachelor degree_programme: SGP tutors_name: Haas, B. de tutors_name: Meijering, L. tutors_name: Oosterhoff, B. keywords_local: Thesis keywords_local: Internet mediated research keywords_local: Institutionalisation keywords_local: Ex-prisoners keywords_local: Home keywords_local: Home-making keywords_local: Netherlands language_iso: en titleorder: Home-making process of ex-prisoners after institutionalisation dbi: 5bb5c10267a3f imported_item: yes date_of_import: 2020-04-22 imported_from: http://scripties.frw.eldoc.ub.rug.nl/root/ba/SGP/2018/whjposthuma/ import_source_file: theses-frw-20200422132455-5bb5c10267a3f.xml date_issued: 2018-01-01 description_company: Rijksuniversiteit Groningen citation: Posthuma, W.H.J.
