Abstract
The densely populated areas in the study case offer unplanned small play space which located in rest available open space that are less accessible and unsufficient for some of the children. These affects them to play in more accessible space such as alleys, river, and parking site. So that the play space also lack of health and safety environment without any play equipment to support child play. However, this condition is still support the child development through their survival, cognitive, physical, and social skill. The culture of the neighbors that have strong participation in taking care of local children and maintaining the place make the play space more lovable and sustainable. Regardless those benefit, the children has right to play in safe and health environment that government should integrate it in the urban spatial planning, invite private in funding, holds the local communities, neighbors, and children to strengthen their role.
