Abstract
This research aims to explore whether the integration of spatial planning and water management and the integration and collaboration of different actors is taking place, in order to positively influence the spatial quality and water safety, in the project 'Stadsdijken Zwolle'. In the research the following research question is answered: ''How does collaboration in dike reinforcement contribute to both spatial quality and water safety in the city of Zwolle?'' In order to answer the research question five semi-structured interviews have been held with the main stakeholders.
