Abstract
This research focuses on the opportunities offered by the cradle-to-cradle approach for a more sustainable spatial planning in the Groningen province. The cases of Venlo and Almere as well as the new Provinciaal Omgevingsplan (POP) of Groningen offer insights on how this new approach can be beneficial to the province.
